As long as he's been out with injuries, he's had all that time to fix his jumper. If it's not fixed now, it will never be consistent.

Ya'll wasn't talking that shyt when he hit the game winner in Oakland the other night

that was a fukking terrible game beyond measure. he had 11 turnovers to 1 assist with nearly 30 shots and less than 10 makes(or just around 10). how the fukk are you going to forgive all that because he hit a game winner? fukk, if he played halfway decent the game wouldn't have needed to go to OT.

Why was Michael Jordan’s shot so flat?

1. Michael Jordan wasn't a very good shooter. (True at first, but it is hard to maintain this hypothesis over the course of his career.)

2. Jordan was weak on one dimension of shooting ability, but he compensated along other dimensions. He could have been a better shot, if only he had learned proper arc from Mark (and Brent) Price.

3. Jordan's flat shot was part and parcel of an efficient combination of talents. Perhaps the flat shot gave him a quicker release or different angles at the basket or a greater ability to shoot while moving or all of those. Check out "The Shot" at 2:20 here.

Maybe his flat shot, when combined with his other talents, gave him an advantage. Since few other players have had the complementary talents as Jordan did, they haven't had an incentive to develop or stick with flat jump shots.

Jordan had a good three-point shot under pressure but when he was open his long-range shooting was unreliable. That combination is consistent with this hypothesis. Here is a short Yahoo discussion.

In my heart of hearts, I believe #3 is the answer.

As bad as Rose plays his drives and misses create for others on his team. He's always a threat when on the court so the Bulls are better with him although the tonight he was pretty much 100%

His flat shot is based on the fact that he has a jumpshot not a set shot. He jumps so high adding an arc would almost be overdoing it.

I think he needs to switch to a set shot like curry but it just doesn't fit Rose gameso:manny:

His jumper form is probably the strangest I've seen in NBA. It's like he's bench pressing the ball or something :scust:

Rose don't even look to pass the ball unless he gets trapped on the baseline he's a terrible pg who routinely takes bad shots and hogs like kobe, nikkas be gassin that bullshyt when it goes in.

Butler was drawing fouls all game and making shots and he touched the ball like 2-3x in both ot's while rose taking off balanced 3's and gunnin that garbage ass jumper

:snoop:Dude basically missed 2 years of basketball...he's going to struggle for stretches. Nowadays nikkas go on Skip Bayless type overreaction rants after a 2 or 3 game stretch.
