minus whale let him fukk your wife

OT but I completely understood in S1 of ‘true detective’ why dude was so pissed to come home and see his partner mowing the lawn (granted there was more at play there)…and sure enough he went on to fukk his wife eventually lmaooo

jokes aside tho…there is a sense of pride instilled in me from young at being able to mow your own lawn as archaic as it might sound

Honestly, if you have a ride lawn mower and don’t have a ginormous lawn, you can cut each side in like 15 minutes if that.

unless you are balling outta control where the expense to keep your lawn cut ain’t nothing then you should be doing it.

Interesting timing for this thread. We just moved into a new construction crib with over an acre of land. I grew up in the projects, lived in apartments most of my life. And after apartments we was in townhomes where there was little to no backyard and the front grass was cared for. So now we got this house with all this land and we looking at it like :patrice:A niigga like me has no clue where to start with maintaining his joint other than going and buying a lawnmower. We got that new construction backyard too, where the grass is growing in good in some spots, but in areas close to the side of the house, it's still bare. Our neighbors got someone to do theirs for $70 a week. It looks decent, especially compared with ours and weeds making their appearance. I'm basically tryna find someone who can get me right and let me rock from there. Any one of you green thumb niiggas able to point a breh in the right direction? Can I basically go buy some RoundUp or something to kill the weeds we already got sprouting up, or is it more involved than that? :feedme:
Get some pruners to take care of branches, bushes, etc

As for your other questions youtube is your friend.

Above the fray.

1) Standard Roundup kills everything...weeds and grass. They make a bullshyt Roundup weed killer for lawns, but it's pure D bullshyt. As are most of the in-store products. If you go to Amazon and see what the top rated weed killers for lawns are, and if they ship that products to your state.......get the smallest container of the concentrate of that product, and a pump sprayer.
(They don't ship the best products to my state, so I get along with the store products and tricks/techniques from neighbors)

2) Hire a lawn service to get your lawn off to a good start. Cut, treat for weeds and bare spots. Just for that. You can take care of weekly mowings after that.

*You may or may not need to treat for weeds again this season. But you have the concentrate and pump sprayer for future use, before price rises further.
