Life is absurd. Lean into it.
Too often...TOO often...more than someone in their late 30's should.
Not so much afraid of dying, but moreso how I die and the legacy I leave behind. I look at my grandmom and my aunt and the immediate family and impact they had on folks through the generations. My grandmom passed in 87, but adopted and raised half my adult cousins, even raised me for my first 3 years of life. Aunt did the same, her 2 sons are extremely successful.
I don't want to be like my father; wasted potential and legacy-less (never met him although he died when I was 16).
I just want to have a successful child, help the next generation build, and not die from anything extremely painful or debilitating.

This, all around you, is the Game. Imagine you're sitting at home one day playing GTA and you doze off. Next thing you know your awareness is inside CJ as he runs around San Andreas. You take to it like a duck to water because his head is filled with a backstory and no one else around seems to question anything so you accept thats how it is.
One day a new player pops up and says to CJ "You know this isn't real, right?" and points out how so many of the people are simply reciting scripts, saying the same thing over and over again if you conversate with them over an extended period or why there seems to be an over reaching narrative playing out with each experience or, best yet, how he doesn't seemingly have any control over his impulses like he's being directed by something beyond his awareness. "Prove it" CJ says whilst also pondering what this man must be toking to think like this. "Simple" the stranger says "Keep your mind and body perfectly still for 45 minutes. Do absolutely nothing. You tough, right?". What happened next?
Thats you and everyone else, right now, playing the Game of Souls and thinking its real and you could perish when in reality death equals freedom from the planet where you came to serve a life sentence under the guise of entertainment. But only for those who realized the nature of the Game whilst they were playing it and made the best investment - knowledge of Self.
