I turn 29 next month. My 20s have been a huge disappointment. I've had some fun, of course. Got laid some. I have a decent job, and I'm in grad school, so things aren't so bad. Yet I feel like my 20s were a bit hard on me. I got continuously dissed by a bunch of women, lost my father, left 2 relationships that ended up with me being hurt, amassed 100k in school loan debt, etc. I'm hoping to god I have a better decade when I turn 30.

What can I look forward to when I hit my 30s?
Honestly with $100k in student loan debt you need a second full-time job or a wife where your combined household income is over $100k. Live on half and use the other half to pay down the loans. Develop a 5 year plan...years 1-3 are for paying off debt. If you hustle you can get that paid off in 3 years or less. The last 2 years STACK!! That 6th year you should be able to make some serious moves.

Live cheaply...in a small studio or with family/friends and keep your budget really tight. Don't borrow any more money during those 5 years. No car loans, no credit cards, no installment plans NOTHING. If you don't borrow any more money and make payments on it you will eventually get out of debt. How long it takes is up to you.

but on some real shyt you gotta lok up candida yeast overgrowth... that's why you have no energy after 1 nut... alkalize ur body.. ur diet is going to have to change radically... ur most likely not absorbing nutrients out of most of the food you eat... and if you're not eating a healthy organic diet your food basically has almost no nutrients

The World, but from BK
Gonna be 30 this summer....what's good? :salute:

I'm realizing the school loan debt thing might be a problem. I did my B.A. (2 years away and 2 at city college) and I finished paying my loan by December 2012. My girl got her masters and is at $75k in debt. I'm curious, how much would that affect my credit if we got married? :patrice: or should I just end it now?

Don't mean to patronize you, but outside of some factors that you can't control(loved ones dying, serious ilness etc.) life doesn't "get" better or worse. You need to get away from this mentality.

Don't let life just... happen to you. That's the way animals live. Humans have will and agency. Take control of your life and steer it wherever you want it to go. If you feel something is missing, do some serious soul searching and figure out what it is, then go about fixing it.

Good luck to you and yours.

I'm 31, college educated, married with 3 kids(all by my wife:jawalrus:), own my home, make good money at my job, and I still have all my hair. 30s ain't been too bad to a nikka thus far:manny:

I must say though that I have gotten a whole lot better managing my money from my late 20s to now than I did when I was younger. nikka aging gracefully over here :blessed:
