Does it matter if a grown man can’t cook if he got money?

Depends I know some cultures it's normal for men not to know how to really cook.

And women are expected to cook. I know some men in my dad generation don't really know how to cook but they can BBQ.

Me personally that view is kinda antiquated. I became vegetarian and I wouldn't want none of these broads cooking for me unless she was vegan/vegetarian herself. Even then I can make my own quinoa avocado bowl.

Also another factor that I just thought about men with money might not want to spend the time cooking and cleaning when that time could be better spent on something else even if it's resting for your next day. So it's not that they can't cook but rather don't want to spend the time to prep, cook, and clean up for meals.

any sort of black swan event that affects the grocery supply chain and "men" who don't know how to cook will simply die off, the same way boomers who didn't know to stockpile/wear masks died off during 2020. and if one thinks this can't happen to a young, healthy, well off man in a modern, civilized city...

The women in my family from my grandmothers to grand aunts, mother and aunts told me I had to learn how to cook anything and everything I want to eat. They stressed to me how important it is to not rely on a women for nutrition or a clean home. That if I had to rely on women I would be their slave. So I learned how to cook well and keep a house immaculate.

If you have to go out to eat all the time because you don't know how to cook. It will be harder to control your salt, sugar & oil consumption. Among other things. Fact remains you must eat. Now knowing how to cook is a handicap aristocrats and royalty can afford.

I didnt know how to cook until I started working from home back in 2016.

I'm glad i learned tho, it's really not that hard especially with youtube around to show u. It's cheaper and I like my food better than fast food

Cooking/Meal Prepping for the week opens up the rest of your day/week, depending on what you cook. It's also therapeutic and enhances your bond with your spouse and/or kids. Not to mention the amount of money you are saving over eating out.

I'm not focused on what rich people do, they can afford to eat out or pay for a chef. Your average man and woman should have an affinity for the kitchen, I can't imagine coming home and eating a tv dinner every night. That's what you do when you are young and struggling, grown folk need to be getting busy and eating relatively healthier.
