Compare two very different rappers brehs
How the fukk can anyone compare Martin Luther King and Malcolm X? Two very different men..how dare anyone compare Obama and Clinton. Whitney and Mariah. Ice Cube and Memphis Bleek.

You dudes can't be grown men saying "you can't compare" WTF:laugh: Holy $hit:laugh: Makes sense though...after that thread where that girl got beat up and everyone was saying no one should interfere and risk jail time, kind of exposed what time it is with these weak ass nyggas:laugh: And they got the GALL to call Tupac the GOAT on a internet message board with such C00nery in their heart:laugh:

Prove me wrong.

Opinions are opinions, but RD, Vol. 1, Vol. 2, BP, Black Album, and AG all range from classic to above average to me, which is more good albums than most rappers can say they have. Plus if you compiled Jay's elite songs from his entire career, I'd put it against anyone else's from hip-hop's inception to now.

How does something that's classic and by definition damn near perfect get slaughtered in the first place?

:dwillhuh:
Great question..now When Jay Z first retired with that Black Album thing, MTV hyped him up as the greatest ever. So surely he has something that can slaughter ANYONE?

No. And I'm a Hov Stan. I only say that because you said SLAUGHTER. It's not just Snoop. Whoever was the engineer for Gin and Juice is the real star of the record. Find me the nikka who mixed and mastered that and he's the MVP because that's why I couldn't find none of Hov's shyt that SOUNDED better. That's the real truth since you want to be technical and shyt. Sonically that record is one of the best Period and your ear just can't lie to you regardless of how much you like or dislike the contents over something else. Sound and acoustics are so important.

Jigs has elite songs without question, but the elite songs he does have never translated to whole, great albums except for a few. Reasonable Doubt is NOT a classic album. It is a great album, but not classic. His best album for sure. American Gangster is on par with RD IMO. Great fukkin' album. I don't even fukk with Blueprint no more except for about 4-5 songs. Was great for its time, though. The Black Album also is a great album, but no classic. Vol. 1 and 2 are average overall with a few elite songs on each. Vol. 3 never really gets talked about, but was a great album as well. What about the rest of his catalog? Every album after AG is budakiss, but again he does have a few great songs.

Gin & Juice is a party song from the 90's. For a song to be more live it has to be just as OG status and rose to the top of the charts. We already know the songs so ain't no new old undiscovered top 5 classic party song from 93 era to go lookin for. The whole concept of the thread don't go together. Might as well just ask nikkas which records they like more, or make this a full blown appreciation thread
