Does John Goodman get the credit he deserves?

Goodman is great. I like that he does lots of different roles, can sing, and has a good sense of humor.

He's a hard worker, 19 movies and 200+ eps of Roseanne in 9 years.

Yeah Dan from Roseanne is an underrated actor. He just looks like he is being himself in most of his roles and not forcing anything. Thus making his roles more believable.

I saw him in Argo last week. And remember how great he was in "the Artist". Does he get prop he deserve for his acting? Or do yall think dude is average or ?

I think John Goodman has been playing himself, and various men in his family for his whole career.
