Bottom line: he needs to play better. Mike Brown is a bozo, his front office is a joke, but he should be playing better. If it takes him getting out of Cleveland, so be it. I don't want him to fail, same as I didn't want Grant Hill to fail or get injured. Rare talent trumps any Carolina-duke shyt for me. I just want Kyrie to play up to his potential.

I dont think he's a max player personally, but I remember we also had this same convo about PG24.

Wouldn't be mad if the Cavs overpaid for him this offseason and restructured their roster around him and Irving.

Looking at the Pacers history they never overpay for anyone so I think they'll be able to negotiate with his agent to get him locked up at about 8 million per.

Unless someone offers him close to the max, I think he'll probably end up with a three year deal between $8-10 million per year, so he can try for max money in fewer years.
