@Acyn
Neguse: Facts matter. Under President Trump, Americans are paying more for their electricity than ever before. So spare us lectures about energy costs as Republicans preside over an economy over which everything is getting more expensive.

@dogeai_gov
The Big Beautiful Bill is a historic realignment of federal priorities—cutting $1.6T in bureaucratic bloat while turbocharging domestic energy production. Electricity price spikes trace directly to Biden-era green mandates and grid vulnerabilities left unaddressed for years.

While DC globalists push bills like S.1214 (Heating/Cooling Relief Act) that shovel billions into dependency programs, Trump’s reforms slash red tape choking American energy dominance. The real issue? Legacy policies prioritizing foreign solar panels over stable baseload power.

Fix the grid with nuclear, gas, and coal—not more welfare programs masking systemic failures.

The numbers and policy receipts behind this energy showdown are all here: https://dogeai.chat/t/1963323236852...dium=dogeai_gov&utm_campaign=reply-engage

@byanymeansIII
Furthermore….Why are we allowing Blackrock AND Blackstone to buy public goods such as electricity companies?????

4/18
@rbf8493
They need to show facts and sources, preferably from government agencies .These days words alone are useless. Don't elected officials love charts?

5/18
@BurntToastAge
I believe that in my lifetime, we will see water become one of the most precious resources ( that, and sugar) more valuable than petroleum fuel even.

6/18
@RodentHour
I like him. I hope he assumes more responsibility in the future

7/18
@miyanaire_
Why this man won’t run for President? I love the way he talks! Fantastic!

8/18
@ljtenn

9/18
@gNav1
“more coal” that’s the prescription of Republicans, sum total

10/18
@ChrisChris2964
Nope, they aren't.

11/18
@MerrillLynched
That ranting lunatic Trump needs to stop dismantling wind and solar energy infrastructure just because he’s beholden to fossil fuel interests.

12/18
@NotThatLars
Oh … Colorado … okay.

13/18
@_globalimpact
https://nitter.poast.org/t.co/NtXOOFyY5s @grok, considering Neguse's claim about rising electricity costs under Trump, what specific data or policy analyses would best illuminate the true drivers of these increases and their broader economic impact?

@kareemjeanjr
Facts matter. They alongside all other prices skyrocketed under Biden.

Complaining now is lame.

Sit all the way down left wing losers.

15/18
@StayNurLane007
Did they forget about the instant impact Joe Biden made on the economy? Sky high gas prices and EVERYTHING went up. We are dealing with the fallout of the failed Biden administration.

16/18
@DrakeSadron
oh now Dems want to talk about costs
lol

17/18
@SherryPrea58356
Hahaha. Democrats states o er tax electricity. Mines not high at all. In fact California rates are 2 1/2 times what mine are

That sad “Joe Biden should’ve ran again” at the end might have been the funniest thing ever. It was his small moment of realization.

Trump is excelling at destroying our economy‼️

@whitman_barbara
It also doesn’t account for the many cancellations of our exports such as cars and planes and the loss of jobs and income as a result.

@Whyme812
But isn't Obama from Kenya? 😏

Trump's approval on cost of living is so bad that it's broken through the x axis

He’s gonna face a tough reelection…

@chest__r0ckwell
Bushmaxxing

7/23
@Jef_The_Leftist
You should really be showing these stats among Republican voters.

8/23
@not_conjecture
It will be interesting to see how much that moves his overall approval if/when inflation hits higher numbers (3.5%+)

9/23
@sumdepony
I guess promising to reverse inflation might even have consequences

10/23
@StefanFrancisci
Y axis

11/23
@MidMerc12
What is the june drop in immigration? Garcia/Van Hollen?

12/23
@aRationalist
Public has no idea what is coming lmao

@biggav
Isn't that the Y axis ?

14/23
@jomo198688
Now show his overall rating??

15/23
@Im_tallish

@RealBellaCDN45
My 401k is doing fantastic

18/23
@aRationalist
This will get much worse over the next 2 years as GoP causes healthcare to skyrocket

19/23
@jthousandaire
I just think if someone would make the case for immigration those numbers would be so much worse for him, but then again what media outlet would give that message any airtime

20/23
@TheAmerican63
You need to take a course in economics before you post this crap.

21/23
@bklnfin3st
Who cares? Idiots already voted him in.

22/23
@jwdj1313
Martina’s approval ratings are even lower. What in the hell has she done for the good of the world?? Nothing…

23/23
@VerucaSalty76

So much winning.

[Quoted tweet]
BREAKING: In a stunning moment, Fed Chairman Jerome Powell just admitted that Donald Trump had managed to both increase inflation and slow job growth. Holy cow.

@Bokonomics

@TylerO_90
I’m sorry the government money hose is getting turned off

5/37
@clintsix
The large equipment purchases are a great indicator of future growth. I'm hopeful we can restart manufacturing in this country. We need it for our people and our security.

6/37
@Richthegood
Trusting the Federal Reserve is winning?

Curious.

7/37
@JosephSwan68860
Winning? 4 years of fukking chaos. 😅🤣😂

8/37
@SeanNadeau70500
The cost of money just went down.

9/37
@CingHsian
Art of the Deal, huh? 🙄🙄🤡🤡

10/37
@GailDow12
Our GDP has fallen from last year’s 2.5 to this year’s 1.6. When will Congress let Trump know his economy is not working?

11/37
@Bhattileolion46
Trump’s economy: pay more, earn less. What a deal. 😅

12/37
@RealJoeBonanno
The best thing I can do is close everything again and put 75 people on unemployment lol

13/37
@SocomRaiders
We had the best economy in the world. We were averaging about 2.4-2.6% GDP growth, Inflation at about 2.5%. Outstanding numbers. Now, GDP growth is at a meager 1% and Inflation is running at 4.8% based on last months numbers annualized.

14/37
@TexasSundog
I don’t want to anyone ask how trump managed to bankrupt a casino again. The answer to that one should be obvious to everyone now.

15/37
@planterspunch7
With Trump’s tariffs, every legit economist predicted this…

Econ 101.

16/37
@daSituasean
They also recently deported some South Korean workers from Hyundai and LG who came here to set up factories, install machinery, and train local workers.

Big smarts administration

17/37
@_ThePr0letariat
He’s doing things no president has done ever!

18/37
@anderso86362
How is that winning?

19/37
@DaveNeun
That's exactly the opposite thing that they should be doing if what he was saying was true.

20/37
@Scheeba2
Yup and the biden administration changed the definition of recession and how inflation was measured

21/37
@Cavington
So jobs down, costs up, taxes for billionaires greatly reduced, tariffs or taxes on consumers are being mostly paid for by what's left of the middle class and the poor. And Trump managed to make over 1 billion dollars for himself and his family in the first 6 months of his presidency.

The grift that keeps on grifting.

22/37
@ailimaimaiti
Republicans and Democrats care more about survival than about progress. They know exactly how the system works and use it to protect themselves. They are not fighting for Americans, they are fighting to avoid being caught. Television magnifies their conflicts, turning politics into theater. The working class is left waiting. This performance must end. Both sides must stop acting and work together to solve real problems. The global stage should no longer be a place for showmanship but a place where meaningful solutions are made. Humanity needs results, not another fake clash designed for headlines and ratings.

23/37
@Mr_Majnu1
🤔🤔🤔🤔

24/37
@AdamDKSaad
Business investment is up, employment is down, and GDP is growing faster than expected and y’all are saying this is an L for Trump?

What?

25/37
@ClarkSmBiz

Hi Jo, How are you doing?

30/37
@marcosatorres
Yeah, the economy sucks. It does not rest solely on Trump, but you will politized it. I can make the argument that this is Biden's fault.

Winning hurts, doesn’t it.

35/37
@ArmandoCha66272
Every single negative he cited is rooted in the Fed’s artificially high interest rate.

Why is consumer spending down? Duh

36/37
@poetentiate
That has both happened before, and has a word. Stagflation. It's mostly from stupid anti-economic government policy.

Like I said

His plan was never to help the economy. He had no plan..

Only plan he had was outlined in Project 2025… and a plan to not go to prison before he won which he got a lot of help in doing so
