He should’ve been looking for a starring role on a TV show that could blown up rather than being a feature character on everything. Now you mention Omari, Ealy could’ve did a role like that. So he was just in this show on Hulu produced by Kerry Washington called Reasonable Doubt. When I tell this show was dumb as HELL bruh. 9 episodes. Just ended. Michael Ealy plays this character who just got out of jail for a crime he didn’t commit. He tries to link back up with the main character, the lawyer who tried to get the charges off him but failed. He’s like obsessed with this lady, who’s married mind you, and he stalks her and shyt. The acting is really bad and the story is just so stupid. But yea idk why I just went on that tangent but yea Michael Ealy is in that show and he sucks in it but I’ll put the blame on the writing more than him.

Oh and he’s not the main character either. He’s basically like 3rd bill. He’s the main character’s side dude lol.

Like the OP stated, Forest and Bokeem stay getting roles because of their acting ability, not because they’re sex symbols. Their success hasn’t been dependent on their looks.

Michael Ealy is the male Halle Berry; not the best actors but have made a career based
on their looks. What major role has Halle had since her Oscar win? Her career never really went anywhere after that apart from being a sex symbol.

Terrence, although he gets clowned, is a decent actor. I don’t remember women holding him up as a sex symbol. Michael Ealy just lost steam once he got married to a non-black woman.

People can front but that plays a huge part in crossing over, especially if you’re getting by mostly on your looks. Michael B Jordan isn’t stupid, he’s not trying to mess up his money.

Taye Diggs was a major sex symbol after Stella Got Her Groove Back. Once they found out he married that big jawed Jewish girl, he lost a lot of points. Same with Omari and that hard faced pawg.

Don’t get it twisted, I respect him as an actor. He’s been in the game for a long time and he’s worked mainly on black-centric productions. That’s really dope to me. With that being said, this show and his role in it.. silly as hell lol
