I bought my first Ki from my baby momma brother
Its not the community. Its the fact that playing good basketball isnt as effective as turboing down court or chucking threes. This concentrates the conmunity to the worst abusers. 2k is always straight for the first two months then once the exploits are found all of the reasonable people bail.

including mypark and trying to get a game going
and cornballs using animations to dance around instead of lining games up
dressing like Boy George's backup band and all being 7 foot dudes who line dance after shots and shoot 3s
its overall just extremely embarrassing that a whole lobby of people are playing dress up and dance off on a basketball game

Man I never quit when I used to play 2k games online (nba 2k10, APF 2k8, NFL 2k5 etc) but I did come across a lot of the type op mentioned. I think it correlates to real life. When the going gets tough, most people quit

Don't forget them only running one broken play on offense and on defense no matter what team. I stopped playing two of my friends because it was all they did, not to mention attempting the onside kick literally every time after a score. It's every bit as bad as the 2k cheese crew.
