Does playing the computer in chess make you any better
Chess Intimidation. Piece Movement - When moving a piece, affirm it down on the board, because the slow you move the more uncertain you look, but if you move it hard and fast you seem more confident and authoritative.

no you have to learn the rules and lol at you not knowing the true art of chess is intimidation, you cant do that to a computer.
you dont know how to play chess bro.
That's incorrect. Playing chess to refine skill and test yourself against the billions of options in openings alone will help you improve.
Chess intimidation has more to do with personality type.

Chess competitions are serious. Read a story about the professionals be under so much stress that they lose hella weight just by sitting there going against their opponents. Now chess players have nutritionists and trainers now so they can make sure that doesn’t happen

Again, you can improve against the computer, it's a testing ground for your skills, there is nothing to lose.
At advanced and top levels you'll get diminished returns as some strategies won't be employed anymore. But guess what, you just found another move to add to your arsenal to throw off the opponent.
Every move is a lesson.

I can agree with this. If you love chess though why would you waste jewels on a computer.
Its a machismo science.![]()
