I've only tested Ratchet and UC4 so far.
Does Pro not do HDR in 4k?

It does. Your TV has to have HDR though (obviously).
My Samsung JS8500 SUHD 4K and LG 4K OLED both do 4K HDR, just fine.
Your TV might have "fake" HDR (some companies have been doing this).
Real HDR10 is only available on a handful of TVs

What TV do you have?
Ratchet and UC4 should show obvious differences when you turn it on/off(Ratchet and Clank doesn't have an option so u'll have to turn it off in the actual system settings.)

I have a Sony 930 55inch. It's real HDR and Sony top shelf 4K HDR

Im having issues getting my PSPro to display in 4K on my faux 4K projector. All my other 4K devices work flawlessly with it. Tons of people online are having a similar issue. Its some copy protection bullshyt fukking up the display.

Epson 6040UB. Fully compliant. I've found a workaround. I had to change my HDCP settings to 1.4 only mode. I'm getting 4k image output now, but people are saying I'll be unable to watch 4k Netflix on the PS4. Thankfully u have other superior 4k streamers to do that.

Are u using the HDMI that came with the console? The Pro has had a few updates to address some of these issues as well as a few TV brands. But u have an Epson projector so it's kind of a special case.

My Pro does 4K just fine and runs UC4 in 4K. Ratchet is a 1080p game though. The HDR looks great but it's a 1080p image. Maybe I will unckeck the automatic resolution option

There isn't real 4k on the PS4 Pro, you have to wait for the scorpio for that
