This is the part where people get confused; of course, women catch the disease from DL (gay) men, but in a hypothetical scenario, if and when a man has sex with a woman who unknowingly caught the disease from a previous sexual encounter, he puts himself at great risk of contracting the disease.

That's what people and CDC is alluding to mean when they say you can catch HIV from vaginal sex; the disease doesn't suddenly become dormant once it enters a woman's body; it passes on to her next partner.
Naw the website explicitly said M-F transmission is low...you can still get it as it is not an absolute but it's low enough I'm rolling the dice.

Her viral load has to high as fukk and the man must have an open wound. The urethra opening of the penis makes transmission hard for the man. That's why most of the time, the women catches HIV from men and not vaginally to the man. Unless the CDC has updated their website, this is known.

If that's what you want to believe, go ahead, but millions of men have been proven to catch HIV from vaginal sex.
Lies :mjlol:

How can you even prove this?....all you can do is take their word. The bottom line is that it's virtually impossible for a man to get HIV through vaginal intercourse. Even fukking a woman in the ass is like 1 in 1000 chance. Now recieving dikk in the ass is another story. That's like 1 in 70 chance. Most people who get HIV are people who took a dikk in the ass. Period. Any man who claims they got HIV through vaginal intercourse is a downlow fruit cake.

Well, that's the thing, “rolling the dice”.

Gambling with your life.

Is that 10, 20, or 30, etc minutes of pleasure worth potentially altering your life? There are a lot of people out here who once had your mindset and saw things through your perspective on the risks and now wish they could take it back. To me, it's not worth it unless it's with a woman I've been seeing for a while (6+ months or years). I'm gonna take the chance and strap up.

Even if it's not HIV to worry about, I'm not taking any chances of contracting any STDs. I like waking up in the morning feeling good, and not going through the mental and physical motions of dealing with STDs or HIV.

If I was traveling and going raw in places like Thailand, Colombia, the Philippines, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to take one. Also would pop a DoxyPeP.

More afraid of non-HIV diseases in America, so I would pop DoxyPeP after a session if it seemed risky.

Just depends. I've had a scare or two or three or four. I'm a true dirtbag though, so meh.

Does research support taking doxycycline for STI prevention?

Yes. Current research suggests that Doxy PEP is effective for bacterial STI prevention. The CDC officially recommended Doxy PEP as a STI prevention tool in June 2024.

Several studies back up this recommendation. For instance, one study found that taking doxycycline after a sexual encounter reduced the risks of developing chlamydia and syphilis by over 70%. The risk of gonorrhea went down by more than 50%. Everyone in the study was either living with HIV or taking PrEP medications to prevent it.

A lot of men need to learn to strap up out here, you're playing with your life.

There are hundreds of thousands, not millions, of people who are infected with HIV and don't even know it until symptoms arise, and if that's if they show because sometimes it doesn't.

This isn't true.

1 in 2380 exposures if the woman is positive. Most women aren't positive.

I strap up for other infections. I'm not worried about HIV.
