The only thing thatvmakes Roman Reigns special is his push which could essentially could be given to anyone. He is pretty average at most things. At least Miz was good on the mic when he was on top.

It's not Roman earning the heat, it's the booking. People tentatively loved Roman until he was turned into NewCena 5 years too early.
Not Zayn..Zayn is over enough but he's pretty hard to put up with on the mic too. Sounds kind of condescending and annoying at times..at least as a face.
They didn't LOVE Him...he wasn't loved enough really because fans basically said we love Ziggler, Ambrose, and Bryan more than you. And it's apparent they loved Sasha and Lana much more than they ever loved Roman too. When it became OBVIOUS that Roman was padded with a lot to look special, he was done. Well he was done getting respectable actions

Wrestling is fake. Roman is skilled as he needs to be. And he does connect with a certain segment of fans. Just not the neckbeards and thats ok.

Roman looks like a super hero, he has crossover potential. He can be in movies, He looks good on good morning america etc. Its a business, him Cena and maybe Seth are probably the only crossover type stars in the biz. Because they work in multiple situations outside of "ringwork" and all that.
Cesaro, Samoa Joe, Balor all those guys are not going to do that. Be realistic... I think AJ can have a heel run with the strap. It's nothing wrong with being in the midcard... everybody doesnt need to be champ to be relevant or a legend. It's a fake belt. Let them put it on whoever they think will sell tickets. It's a team sport.

Wrestling isn't just for kids because they booked Hogan vs Rock at WM 18 and that's foor adults. Wrestling is for kids but the biggest and most bought US domestic success was Rock vs Austin II at WM 17. The people that watch the WWE is the 18-49 market. And the people at the arenas is made of adults bringing their kids...that's about it.
Not sure what "Roman looks like"...He looks like someone that a girl would cheer for in truth. they pounded you over the head with Cena and he was never accepted..he's been using deathly ill kids as the justification for not moving his character in a progressive matter for years. He's a JOKE and always will be. Does Roman really want to end up like that?
Team sport or not, they're making sure non draws like Blandy and Roman get paid more than everyone else when they aren't selling out arenas and driving business up. That makes racism..that means bigotry and that means prejudice.

Its hard to think if Hate is the right word for me with Roman.
There is respect for Roman, because he has busted his ass on some parts. I think the reason why I don't fully like him, is that, a part of him hasn't earned it yet in my eye. Mostly I want a wrestler to have a run with a mid-level title, so people can get familiar. Instead Vince pushed him to the top shelf so quickly, and his run of trying to be a face is just awkward. I am not sure what goes on in the back, but Roman being put on the mic, and trying to be a Face for me isn't hate. Its just I have a "grinding metal" feeling, and sparks are flying from it.
