You right the two stand out tracks from that unfortunate era were.

The Busta Rhymes joint 'Got your Money' and the DJ Premier produced 'pop shots'.

'Toe to toe I scrap with the best, if i spit ten rhymes nine gone connect' - :wow: :wow:

Yeah I remember this

Once Dirt came home, he was never the same

All then drugs they gave him when he was locked up did a number on him

Dude needed another chance at rehab and some therapy

For sure Bro.

I think it was Promethazine he was rapping about and all the things they were doing to him when he got locked up. I saw it on the Dame documentary they were doing back in the DVD era. It was sad, RZA spoke a little about it on drinkchamps too.

na this ain’t it.

the song I’m talking about had like a girl on the hook

plus it was more grimy or less produced like them tracks on ODB album…

like say this song

IIRC Cuttin' Headz was a song RZA/GZA/Dirt did when they had their own group, pre-Wu (group name slips my mind). This was probably recorded in 91 (sure as hell sounds like it). I know the recroding process of Return to the 36 Chambers was a challenge b/c of ODB skipping sessions, vanishing on benders, etc. so maybe they just threw this on there b/c they needed material to show the label, and it stuck.

All In Together now was the name of their group

Besides that remake for the show, the only early Meth solo to leak besides demo album tracks & group stuff were these

only thing w/ a vocal sample in it was a freestyle

so you need to track that og tape down...run up on the whole class of suspects

I'ma huge fan of odb as an artist.
Such a unique style.
But he really was a shyt person.
Anyhows. His first joint album the dirty version was a classic to me . Kinda took away when I heard that gza and rza had to force him to record the album. Gza did most of the writing.

I did have the thought if it was a little later it could have been the Lost In The Masquerade w/ Lauryn & 4th on the beat
