We shouldn't waste all of that time watching basketball. It's a serious waste of life. Just trying to be a good person will only lessen your punishment in the Hellfire. You need to meet certain conditions set out by God, to have eternal Paradise in the afterlife. Practicing Islam and dyeing upon Islam will allow you to be in paradise in the afterlife, no matter how much you sin. I'm saying this for your own good! May Allah guide you to Islam.

what happens to people who never had a chance to be exposed to your particular sect of Islam?
what about the people who lived and died before Mohamed?

what about people who don't have the benefit of literacy...? someone rolls up with food, blankets and a bible...?
then they are doomed to hell?

Yes there are level to paradise and hellfire. I believe it 7 for each.

There are certain levels for each types of ppl. If I remember correctly children who die before 15 are sent to Jannah(paradise) at the lowest lvl because sins are not recorded till you reach 15 or mature thru puberty while your good ones are still recorded from birth. A good deed is worth 10 times more on a scale than a bad one. You see Allah is the most merciful! Look how much leniency we have!

I can't remember where ppl who are ignorant of Islam (never heard of the message of Islam in their life) go again but I think paradise at the lowest lvl.

One thing I can relay to you is that good deeds are multiplied from 10 to 700 to much more by Allah. 10 is the minimum.
