But the media does. If Lebron or Cam did half the shyt Draymond does or says they would crucify them. For example remember the weed thing? When Draymond pretended to pass a blunt to Steph? Can you imagine what wouldve happened to Cam? But draymond? fukkin nothing and it was forgotten.
Compare a 2nd round pick turned allstar to #1 picks brehs.

Steph ain't lebron or Simmons, he always been the underdog

Maybe the media doesn't turn on him because of that

:manny:
He just won a championship and MVP, as well as his team is in the midst of possibly breaking the wins record and he's going to get his second MVP. Now isn't the time the media turns on you.

Stephen Curry wouldn't be the first "underdog" who the media turned on.

Arrogance :russ:

Dude is the epitome of a typical lame light skin nikka :russ:

He been in the league 7 years...he just started talking shyt when he had a stacked team around him...that is not even 2 full years...

Can you find any clips of him sneak dissing people in the 2013 season? Nope...

How about 2012 season? Nope.

How about the seasons before that? Nah he was to busy having his ankles held together with scotch tape...

Then Klay emerges then he gets a good utility guy in Iggy then Draymond emerges than they carve out a perfect role for Barnes and NOW he got all this shyt to say :russ:

This thread should be about Draymond Green. He was an annoying shyt talking dude at Michigan State. Was an annoying shyt talking dude when he was a second round pick. Was an annoying shyt talking dude when he was riding the bench in GS and not playing, is an annoying shyt talking dude now that he is a certified all star in this league. As a basketball player he has gone through a complete metamorphosis. As a person he is still the same guy he was in college. That is the "perfect balance of arrogance"

Steph...:russ:...fukking Steph:russ:....wait I am a choir boy I put god first...no wait I am a family man...no wait I am just a humble guy who is happy to be here...no wait I am cocky enough to shoot 3's from half court and not even watch them go in:russ:

I could have sworn that during the finals Klay called Steph the best player in the league...Steph didn't call himself the best in the league:russ:

I could have sworn Draymond said he had to take this little eggshell nikka out for drinks after Dirty Delly put them clamps on him cause Steph was all :mjcry: about it...

Just a typical light skin nikka who aint never puffed his chest out once before his front office put in some work and Draymond emerged.

The very second Draymond leaves or gets hurt or is just not around this team is falling back to the pack

I don't like Draymond either. But I respect the way he is the same dude he has always been. He was annoying when he was a nobody 2nd round pick that was to small and slow to play any position. He is annoying now that he has pretty much revolutionized the "big man" position. Draymond is probably the quintessential player people point to when they say "basketball ins positionless now". There is a huge difference in the player Draymond Green was and is now. There is virutally no difference in the person Draymond Green was then and is now.

In 2015 - 16 Steph is talking about how he hopes the locker room he won a title in still smells like champagne.

In 2015-16 Steph is out here guaranteeing "a win and a win"

In 2015-16 Steph is making mock apologies about how he is sorry his team was healthy last year and nobody else was.

In 2012 he started every interview with or ended every interview with "I just want to thank god"

Go ahead and post a clip of Steph saying anything slick in 2013, or 2012, or 2011.

Just one clip. Just one.

I feel bad for Steph. His fall from grace will be:wow:

I thought he would have learned his listen when he damned near killed himself falling on his head and left the game and the warriors sent him right back out there and he had that look in his eyes that boxers had right after Prime Mike Tyson hit them with an uppercut. I guess not.

I thought he would have learned his listen when Klay took a knee to the head so bad it echoed in all 7 of my speakers and they sent him back out on the court with a fukking blood clot in his ear to finish the game saying he did not have a concussion...but then immediately after the game said they did not know when he would play again because he had concussion like symptoms. I guess not.
He's arrogant now cause he and his team felt disrespected over the summer. Now they going at everyone's neck. Y'all caused this. Now everyone from the Spurs to the Cavs fan bases is :fire::angry::birdman::damn::shaq2::mjcry:.

Breh, we've seen the media turn on Tom Brady (before turning back to his side after he wins again). Isn't much bigger of an underdog than that.

If he doesn't rate for you, I'm sure Tony Romo does.

I'm not even sure why Stephen Curry is really considered an underdog necessarily. It's not as though he was some second round pick or even a guy that fell out of the lottery or anything. People just didn't have expectations of him to THIS level that he's at, but there's plenty of people who thought he could/would be an All Star and a very good to great player, things of that nature.

I didn't say LeBron was mentioned. There's a sense of it.
:what:
:dahell:
:mindblown:

NIKKA!!!

Posters like YOU are the reason we need to create a "LeBron James thread".

You took a thread that had NO MENTION of that man and STILL found a way to get emotional and spin it into a thread about him :snoop:

I yousta respect that you didn't beat around the bush and be PC in your hate for LeBron like so many of the dudes on this site do.

But now you making me think your hate for dude is at PSYCHOTIC levels.

As a Spurs fan...I am far from "mad" about anything Steph or the warriors do.

Are the warriors going to win 50 games 18 years in a row?

Are the warriors going to win 5 titles in my life time?

Is Steph going to be THE quintessential player of his generation like Dungawd is? Top 10 in multiple categories? Rebounds? Blocks? Scoring by the time this season ends?

Nah...he not going to do that...him as a player is not going to have 1/3rd the success of my favorite player and his team is not going to have 1/10th the success my team has over 18 years...he won't even play that long...won't be able to keep the band together that long...the band won't even play that long...

This dude has a few years to go to catch Dwayne Wade as a guard in historical content...

This dude needs to keep this pace up for what...4 more years...and then maybe you could say his name in the same sentence as kobe.

I swear I aint never seen a group of stans who disrespect nba history and have such a lack of context for other teams or players like Steph and Warriors stans...

This dude wasn't even good enough to win finals mvp and his team won the finals...

How the fukk is that even possible:mindblown:...he was voted the most important player out of 32 teams and around 600 players...but then Delly put them clamps on him just enough that he couldn't get voted the most important player out of 2 teams and 28 players...:russ:

I hope there is some retreat warrior and curry stans can all go to if they don't win the chip this year...you won't be able to take it otherwise:mjcry:

If steph doesn't have off court problems will the media take him down?

Honestly some of his comments this year have been in steph like
The media doesn't need off court problems to go at a player, particularly a Black player.

I mean, look at all of the shyt a guy like LeBron James gets, and there's no non-basketball dirt on him either.

The thing media members really hate is having to admit they are wrong. They've basically built this Golden State team up to be guaranteed the 2016 NBA champions. If they're wrong, they're not going to say "Oh, well, we just underestimated other teams" or "Maybe we got ahead of ourselves" or even "It was reasonable to get behind this type of team, we just didn't consider that another team could beat them." They're gonna just talk about how the Warriors team, and in particular Steph Curry, came up short. This team has been built up too high for them to lose and there not be a great backlash.

On the other end, if they win, then there's gonna be no issues. But that bubble will be built up higher. Best case scenario for the Warriors though, if they happen to lose, is that they do it in the Western playoffs and then the Cavaliers end up losing in the Finals as well, so all of the summer talk will just be about LeBron being 2-5 instead of it being about the Warriors coming up short.
