EM and TI verses were reference verses

they were intented for DRE to rap those verses on the final cut of the song

TI over dre production is too smooth..

Ok, that expains why the subject matter Em was spitting sounded kinda :wtf: coming from him.

Song would have been dope on Detox. At this I hope whenever this album drops its least a double disk CD, would be a nice gift from Dre for making us wait so long :birdman:

yeah as its been stated it started with HHID. TI was on top at the time and took it as a diss and he responded in a couple interviews and threw a sumblim or two. TI was actually the first to address it and so nas acknowledged TI and said it wasn't a diss to the south right at the begining. i think they spoke on it though cause after that TI has said in a couple of interviews that things can be easily misinterpreted as a diss and so he doesn't respond unless he knows for certain that an artist is coming at him. also, nas shouted out TI on the introduction to "Be A ****** Too"

and lupe and TI are both on atlantic, and Lupe is good people with Grand Huslte, thats the connection there.

Not just TI, but a lot of southern rappers don't really like Nas for some reason. I never understood that. Cause they offended by his subject matter? Knowledge? His low key personality? His ability to remain focused under pressure?

Like a lot of southern niccas rep jay to the fullest, but remain quiet on Nas. Few even disrespect him on some KKK-type shyt.

Probably because no one down south can match his success... Nas stays low key and every album he's dropped is gold or platinum

fukk up you clowns. I only mentioned it because T.I. is the ONLY consistent platinum and gold selling artist of this generation that hasn't collaborated with him and hasn't praised him in any song or interview that I've ever seen or heard. And he gives plenty of people props. Everyone else I named has gave him props and been on his album or vice versa. The two collabs pointed out were posse cuts on other peoples' shyt where they weren't in the studio together. That is conspicuous to note. Chill with the strawman aarguments.

theyre right tho :manny: no rapper has to like or give props to anyone if they dont feel like it
