If you're smart the military is worth it. Free college alone is worth the price of admission. Veterans benefits are no joke also. You just gotta accept the fact that once you sign them papers the government owns you.

i tell anybody considering the military if they're not on some super soldier, save the world type shyt, don't join the army or the usmc. if you're just try to get that g.i. bill money or use the military as a pit stop while you figure out what you wanna do with your life, join the coast guard or the air force.

I'm trying to get my lil cousin to join the military....

This fool is gonna be 20 this year and still in high school. All he do is smoke weed, fukk 15 year old girls, and steal shyt. He took a placement test and he scored enough for the army and marines. I been trying to convince this dude to join for months, but everybody he knows tells him that the military is like going to prison...complete with rape and everything.

AF is a great branch. They mask their understanding that you are a regular person, but they know. The ranking system is based on testing so that sucks for some people. Now with the higher tender situation they are making people test or get out. Overall it's the best branch in the world.

I was in the army for 8 years and its not that bad at all. You get a steady paycheck free medical and dental and free school and lost of vacation days. The best part of it is you can see the world. I tell people this all the time if you do what your suppose to do and pick the job you like you will love the military. Ya sure you meet people that piss u off who are your boss and cant say what you really feel at times but thats life and thats in the real world also
But ive been to japan, hawaii, germany, italy and austria because of the military and im out now going to school for free and getting paid to go to school just from joining

shyt is what you make of it. I've been in the Army 8 yrs now, and some times it has sucked, but other times I've loved it. Every branch has it's advantages and disadvantages. I got an 89 on the ASVAB and had a clean record, so I had my choice of any branch I wanted. Navy was cool, but they kept trying to push me towards the Nuclear field, and I didn't want to have shyt to do with that. AF was on some bullshyt, couldn't get a job guarenteed, would of had to wait forever and day to leave for basic. Glad that I didn't go AF now, because I've worked with them and lived on an AF base for a lil' while. They are really laid back and all, but they promote really slow, and the cats I was around did more whining and crying about stupid shyt than any group of grown ass people I've ever been around. I don't know much about the USMC, except that they are cocky as hell and I hated being around them in Iraq. If I knew somebody who was trying to join the military, I would recommend the Army or Navy.
