Ya you have options on what job you can do depending on your score or if you know people in high places they can hook u up.

I went in as a dental assistant then went to school for dental hygienist

so do they send yall to work with civilians?

were you doing dental work at a regular dentists office, or was it some stuff that only military people used?

if it's a regular office, how are you "serving the country?"

Civilians got this mindset that all you do in the military is infantry work killing nikkas. And thats far from the truth. If u score well on the ASVAB you get more jobs available to you such as information technology, medical and etc. The test aint hard at all (unless you a dumbass).

Honestly if you plan on joining the military whether commission or enlisted you would be if you pick an IT, medical, or even a human resource job. Cuz you would be getting paid for not doing anything

Anybody trying to be officers...fukk that. You pretty much live, eat and breathe that shyt once you become an officer. I got offers to go to OTS (Officer Training School) and I said hell nah! You get paid a shytload more but the politics for officers and gaining rank is ridiculous. Your career depends on your ass-kissing skills.

I plan on going back to school to become a Physician Assistant so....

I dont even know what that would mean for me.

I haven't done enough research on medical military personnel to know if there has to be any type of ass kissing for them to rank up.

Jobs or ratings to stay away from are CS (cooks), HT (shyt pipe chaser), or anything avaition if u wanna stay in for long. Good luck breh.

^ also the submarine force. We're 70% under man. When choosing a rate(job), be sure to pick a rate thats not overman. Youll have a harder time making rank.

Spent bout 9 years in the army. Some as personnel and some as infantry ranger.

It's the branch I recommend, though I've learned more about the navy now, those cats pretty grimey too.

Yeah you live better in the AF and travel more in the navy...there's a special pride you have when you tell people you served in the army. Us getting treated like shyt is part of the badge and its only mind games any rate.

The army let's you know you can do ANY job and not give a fukk. Its the reason I be at work now laughing at mufukas crying bout petty shyt. If you can make it in the army you can make it anywhere!

The marines would be cool, but they brainwash you too much. But they get the absolute MOST respect once you get out.

I just might go in the Navy...they're the only ones that are giving me the best feedback. Airforce I really wanna join but it seems they are downgrading and the recruiter never answers his damn phone...plus I heard it will take about a year for you to be deployed.
