its just the lack of understanding of a lot of professions and finance in general. Black people as a whole don't place that much emphasis on financial stability. I matched with an unemployed wannabe podcaster/entrepreneur on Hinge she was sending voice notes in her most affectatious voice prior to our first date. At some point she asked what I did and I told her my specialty, she responded "is that even a real doctor?" and unmatched me. I laughed so hard for a good 5 minutes. A quick google search would have showed her that I am in one of the top 5 highest compensated fields in any region. She was obviously attempting to be a gold digger but didn't have the knowledge to be one.

On top of what you said, they are literally the show stoppers........don't shyt go down if the anesthesiologist don't make his bed side visit........and that shyt is all of less than 5 minutes of them saying hi to you and you waking up however many hours later trying to remember what they look like

My friend who is an anesthesiologist likes to refer to himself as this and, outside the hospital, will pull a Shawn Michaels pose every chance he gets.
That said, I'm not surprised by this bird not knowing. I have a friend who is an interventional radiologist and he would get curved when he mentioned what he did or at least, would get his with all kinds of scrutiny. Apparently, women (I hate to say it but a lot of them black) seemed to think that radiologists were on the same level as technicians paywise. shyt was mind-boggling.

And If the title has a complex work, high chances its definitely 6 figures.

I'm not sure what a CRNA is, but as far as I'm concerned a lot of medical professionals can make 6 figures easy. For example, a lowly Radiologist 'tech' can pull $100k

A CRNA is basically a nurse practitioner who specializes in anesthesia.

The average person doesn't know how much most professions make. Which is why every year we hear that a 9-5 isn't enough for various women (on social media) looking for a provider. Never mind that doctors, attorneys, engineers, etc all have 9-5s and make high six figures. If your only concept of a 9-5 is retail or fast food, you're gonna believe a lot of stupid stuff because you don't know any better.

Also a good example of why a certain demographic is often so far behind on marriage. Doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc often get married in college or right out of college. Before they're making the big money they get married, improve their credit, buy a house, have kids, combine their incomes, split bills...basically a lot of things a certain demographic tells you they will not do. Keep that in mind, always. These reality shows are 99% bullshyt/fake but they're designed to mirror what is being said.
