Back in the day the black community had leaders both at the national level (civil rights leaders) and in the local community (black panthers, the OG's, church pastors etc)

Does the black community have a consensus leader at the national and local level today, if so who are they

Obama is the closest I can think of at the national level but swathes of black people (mainly bothsiders, young people and progressives) don't see him as their leader

-This is what I wanna know. People talking all this "We all we got" shyt but I haven't seen who the next leader to motivate people gonna be. We're spread out across the country & there's no "We" without an actual movement & face for it.

That California Lifestyle ...
Locally? Yes

Nationally? No, and there is no incentive to be one.

We have a lot of scammers throwing around a lot of acronyms

People don’t wanna admit it for some reason but it’s athletes and rappers :yeshrug:

They’re bad leaders but it’s very clear they are the leaders. A byproduct of making them the most highly regarded people in our community is they get the unofficial “community leader” badge forced on them

Megan the Stallion, SZA and Kendrick.

Oh, almost forgot. Talking down on them again, Obama.
