She makes a lot better music than H.E.R. without being as pretentious, but I don’t know if that’s a reason people don’t like her. She has a lot of hood rat tendencies.

HER just won the Grammy for best R&B act and she’s a multi-instrumentalist. Her career will be fine and these hot takes need to stop. I remember the days when artists didn’t have to drop music every year to be considered hot.
