City of Angels :blessed:
sniff the playoff MAYBE....Foles is the QB that would get you to 8-8..maybe 9-7 so your in the hunt (but likely aint winning shyt) but the larger story is the Eagles needed home field advantage to make a real run and with Foles you aint sniffin that

Foles went 8-2 as a starter for the Eagles in 2013.

Won 3 playoff games against the best teams in the NFL last year and won the SB.

But ya'll tryna tell me he can't start a full season and get the Eagles to the playoffs? :mjlol:

8-2 in an offense that defensive coordinators hadnt studies yet- Chip caught the NFL off guard
Nick won 3 games but he only played well in 2 of those games

he is inconsistent...anyone who watches Eagles football knows this (casuals look at what ESPN tells them and dont know the full story)

YES. He did his job to lay the groundwork for the season.

Foles needed each and every week and delay that he got.

Without the bye week to prepare Foles would have been fukked. Let alone that he got to play the Falcons at home, and where he played decent enough to win, but not well.

Foles played increasingly better each week, props to him, but If the Eagles had anything besides a bye and home field advantage, they wouldn’t have made it to the super bowl.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
nikkas claiming super bowl titles when they did absolutely NOTHING in the super bowl they are claiming :russ:

nikka didn't even get his team to the super bowl.. y'all have just imagined this scenario where he would have got them there in the first place and that he'd have won it... and that nick foles couldn't do the same

point being, such is life.... brady didn't make it to some SBs before... he's lost some... he's won some... and he's lost to a backup.... in other words, there is NOTHING promised, good or bad in this life. you can GUESS that wentz would have done the same... you really have zero fukking idea

but what you do know, is what happened.... foles got them those playoff wins... foles won them that super bowl... wentz had a nice regular season, word to peyton manning... all this, "sharing" of the ring... would we say this if foles won 6 games, wentz came back and won it all?? would it be foles ring too?

y'all just better hope that boy gets some more rings... cause if this is the argument y'all plan on parading around for Canton..... it ain't gonna work

Foles has to get more credit for that superbowl. Wentz even knows that. Wentz was the key for that first seed but the playoffs and regular season are two different beasts. That is Nick Foles' ring. He was just masterful in those two games. Wentz still gotta prove he can bring it in the playoffs.
Like if Carson has a Marino type career but never starts in and wins a superbowl, we can cite to that ring but it will never really be his. :manny:

That being said, much less pressure on Wentz to lead us to another one, I think the burden of winning the first one in franchise history is greater than Wentz winning his first as the starting quarterback.

But Lets not forget, If anything, Pederson deserves alot of credit for Foles success in the nfc championship game and the superbowl. He had to switch it up from wentz to foles. he saw what made Foles successful in 2013 (the run pass option stuff and that aggressive offensive playcalling) and incorporated that in the playoff gameplan.

With this roster he can. Its not impossible but its not certain either.

The thing about Foles, is that he is streaky, when he is hot, you are not stopping him but when he is cold, he looks really bad.

2014, 2015 and the end of 2017 with Foles are a case in point about that

He won't get credit for it even though we don't sniff HFA without him.

Foles could barely throw the ball forward against Oakland, and in his handful of drives vs Dallas, and his longest completion against Atlanta was a ball that bounced off Keanu Neals knee.

His entire M.O. is catching lightning in a bottle, like he did against Minny & NE. Guy had one of the greatest seasons of all-time, and his jersey is in the hall of fame for throwing 7 TD's in a single game. The very next year he had 13 TDs and 13 turnovers in 8 games. He just has zero consistency.
