Does the east stay weak because Lebron runs it?

A common rock thrown in Lebron arguments is that he's playing in a historically weak conference. I get that the east has struggled for a while, but did we just reach a point where Lebron was so dominant, players just avoid the east?

If the east really is so weak and Lebron is half as over-rated as his detractors make him out to be, why hasn't any EC team made a real effort to build an anti-Lebron team designed to take him out? A team making a pitch to players of something like "avoid the bloodbath this is the WC play offs, let's build a real threat against Lebron, worry about 1 team instead of 4"

Well the 2011 heat took 3 of the top stars, including the top 2, of the east and put them all in one team so ya, he definitely helped make it weaker but not in the stupid way you're suggesting.

The east isn't as weak as people make it seem but people hate LeBron so they need something to hate on him about. The west has more championship caliber teams but the other teams are garbage. The east has alot of middle of the pack teams. When Bron retires there will be a new player to hate on.

1. Warmer cities out West > Dreary cold cities out East
2. As a player, I'd rather play for SAS, HOU, GS, DAL, LA over 90% of East Coast squads. You couldn't pay me enough to choose Indianapolis or Toronto or Boston over them.

It's the other way around, it's LeHoe who avoided the west because he knows the east is hot and guaratees him an easy trip to the finals every season.

He's 17-23 against the west in the playoffs.That just shows you how trash the east really is

nikkas act like the west is a impossible task, when cross compared the cavs first two teams are equal record wise, to GS first two. Lebron can't control what other gms do. And he is an it factor that other teams don't have, I mean Paul was drilling the cavs and just could not keep up, and save the personal attacks like you know how this man gets down, nikka made a business decision, then another, he owes no one nothing, and is not less of man because he did what he did.
