I would say on and offline, most men, harbor some, (at a minimum), hateful and deeply resentful views and feelings about women. Men and women are both generally socialized this way. Ask people where and when, and how they formed their deeply held beliefs about women, and they don't really have an answer, because it's so insidious in culture. Social media, Twitter, Insagram, Facebook, spreads and amplifies these beliefs in an even more rapid and impactful way, through memes, and short videos, gender divisive questions.
And, for example, why is it always "women", and not just selecting individual people to critique or demean? Part of that is just in general people like tribalism, and group think, but on a smaller level, it's about demeaning an entire gender, because someone cheated on you, or didn't text back. It's absurd.
