I swear I haven't heard this term in years. It didn't seem like a trendy thing. I thought this was more of a "yo,young, cuz, fam" type of slang that would be around forever. Do rappers still use it down there? When did this get phased out?

Juvenile had the goat "whodie"

You'll still here "say lil whodie" in certain parts of the city, but yeah "whoa" had a short run.

I can't see it catching on, but it's just a hit record or viral video away.

Honestly I kinda like how it is now, it's used pretty much exclusively in the community that spawned it. Usually if I hear "whodie" it's someone asking me for $1, someone trying to get me to buy their album or one of my boys messing around.

I like how nikkas in the south call they girl they ol lady. I wish that shyt woulda caught on up north.

My girl hates when I call her that, it's great.
