Does most of black comedians material comes from race or relationship drama observations? I know that’s a big part of life but it’s not everything. Are there any black comics that just talk about random strange observations outside of race or relationships, or maybe ventriliquists or other prop comic or would that be corny? I’m not saying comedians should be on some post racial, non controversial stuff but mix it up. I feel like there’s a standard black comedy template that everyone follows. The same thing goes for branching out with the type of TV shows and movies blacks write but thats another story. The only one I can think of that is kind of unique is Donald Glover but even he does it sometimes. Do any black comedians just smash fruit?
