Earlier this month, Rhodes’ pool party was cut short when a fight broke out and a McKinney police officer was caught on video slamming a bikini-clad teen into the ground with his knee in her back and then proceeded to chase other party-goers with a gun.
As the event’s coordinator, Rhodes became the focus of interviews, leading to her discovery as a model by professional photographer, Tay Brown, according to the
Daily News.
Brown saw the situation as an opportunity to put Rhodes in front of the camera again. He traveled to Texas to shoot a series of photos featuring Rhodes in bikinis and figure-hugging party dresses.
“The truth is she had already become famous,” Brown told the Daily News. “She had been on interview – locally, nationally, everywhere. She was famous, just not in a positive way.”
