and if so how does it work? i heard somebody say that races aren't a real thing. for example 'asian' wasn't really a term until people from that region started coming to america. before then, they were japanese, chinese and so forth...but here they're asian americans. under different circumstances, the same goes for black folks and even cacs.

"Race" is synonymous to "breed" for humans. Humans vary greatly due to genetics (as you know). Race in the genetic connotation is very real.

As natural concept yes.. because its an identity, instead of just ONE people if you will. Even if its inherently evil it shouldn't be done away with, because that would be erasing our identity..

Whats worse than the destruction of a group of people? I can't conceive anything worse than racism...

right on. i think that if there was not race, we as human being would find something else to divide us but i don't think phasing out the idea of race as something that matters is erasing our identity. if would just be a progression in how we view ourselves, for better or worse.
