Does TLR thrive off negativity or is it just the media in general?

Question I have tho, is negative content something that drives this section of the forum or is that just the nature of the media?

The Coli, TLR in particular, craves negativity. Gay threads, transexual threads, "bedwench" threads, Democrat hating threads, gender wars, diaspora wars, hood/suburban wars, city wars, crime stats, Instagram thots, the list goes on - everything that generates strong negative feelings. All that shyt goes triple plat with dudes cheering for an encore. There are a handful of posters that traffic in these threads heavily. There's a reason why putting PAWG in the title gets people interested (dudes want to see if a black man is involved so that they can call him a c00n and perpetuate some black hate), or when a black woman is the thread subject the number of replies explode (because some dude meticulously poured over her love life to find if she even looked in the direction of a white dude, and found a hit). Positivity just doesn't gain interest around here. If a thread stays positive for too long, some miserable dude will come around to tank it.

It's definitely TLR, because it wasn't this negative when I first joined the site. People were mainly just getting jokes off. Something changed around the time Trump got into office. Its like the board got flooded with trolls.

This negativity and divisiveness is all according to plan.

Its a shame because we could go so far away from discussions of violence, crime, death, sex, and other forms of deprived moments, but what would there be to talk about? It's neither of the poll options. We just post about what's happening now. It's good for us to be informed. I don't see what the problem is.

We post plenty about positive things but nobody cares.

Whenever there is an article about someone doing something positive, people complain about why the person had to film themselves doing a good deed. But no one complains about people recording themselves doing bad deeds.

We're more intrigued by the "negative" topics, especially as outsiders looking in. It's easier for us to relate to. We don't live in a third world country but life still sucks for a lot of us, and we can relate to the bad news more than the good news.

And there is mostly hatred towards them being conveyed here

One thing I will say is this, at the end of the day........... No matter how much you hate them, YOU NEED THEM!!!
You need them on your side!!
Otherwise guess what will happen? Nothing! Just more of the status quo, if not worse.
You won't get anything done, and you won't get any demand you may have and get any policy related matter gravitate towards what you want without them.

It will never happen this way, because politics is a numbers game and they represent by far the largest majority.
