is goty calendar year or does it run from like oct - oct?....calendar year wise i'd say AC unity has a chance....also, even though yall bashing it, destiny has a chance....all i can think of right now cause everything lese moved to next year....if goty runs from a certain month to month, gta5 has a chance too....

what is that suppose to mean?....like i said: just cause the minority bashing it means nothing, the majority of gamers are enjoying it....which is important....anyway, yea, destiny has a chance, while sunset doesnt...that doesnt mean that i think sunset will be a bad game, i've said plenty of times on here i think it looks fun and that it'll probably be good knowing IG history...but also knowing that history, IG doesnt make goty contenders....that's not saying the games arent good, they are and have been, but they just dont ever meet the criteria for that award...like being multi and/or being that stand outish of a game...
Destiny isn't being bashed by a "minority". It's siting at 77 on metacritc and the overwhelming majority of gamers at least admit that its a bit disappointing.
It's crazy that you can say that game has a chance at winning anything, while claiming another game has absoutely no chance cause of reasons. Asscreed has never won GOTY or been "stand outish" yet you still think that has a chance

that rating is by reviewers, i said majoirty of gamers are enjoying it....and being disappointed and enjoying it are 2 different things...
yea, ac unity has a chance....but since you wanna go off history, IG has never won game of the year either, so what makes you think sunset is gonna be different?...
the reasons i said go into goty consideration...most goty are multis and/or standoutish games...which category does sunset fall under? i'll wait....

Simply enjoying a game isn't enough for GOTY. Most people will "enjoy" something they payed money for.
I didn't come up with the standard that a game/dev would have had to win GOTY in the past. You did, but then you broke your own standard by suggesting which games you think do have a chance. Seems like your just reaching for shyt to say
GOTY has been both multiplat and exclusive. There's no precedent for eithe one. Sunset overdrive is very stand outish, if you've payed any attention at all.
Show me a game that's currently getting glowing previews/impressions like the ones in the OP
