Does Xbox Live have more gamers than PSN?

There are more people on PS4 right now playing online than on Xbox Juan.

Only reason you heard more people chatting on 360 back then was because they all came with mics which PS3 didn't and there wasn't party chat around that time.

Nowadays thanks to party chat, it's quiet on Xbox live and on PS4 even though it has mics bundled in.

More people play on PS3/PS4 nowadays.(Check Battlefield 4 stats).

If you look around the web it's a well known fact that PSN has had and continues to have stability issues. I forget the site right now, but there's a site that tracks the outages and its not even a fair comparison between the two services. There's even a bunch of sites writing stories wondering whether PSN will handle destiny or not. Literally every big release cripples PSN. Hell Mincraft took it down for 12 hours

PSN has gone down four times already this month.

I've had a much smoother online multiplayer experience on 360 than PS4, mostly due to the down times and maintenance. I hope it gets better. I've had very minimal gameplay issues once actually online on PSN. Just shop/down time issues.

This generation might have way more PSN activity than XBL though, if the sales keep up with how they're going anyways.

Seriously, damn near everyone i know has an Xbox but i rarely come to people who have a playstation.

I remember back when Halo 3 came out, all of my friends and classmates had Xbox.

Another i noticed is that when ever you play on Xbox, literally everyone has their mics on compared to PSN.

Is it that more people play Xbox?
