Mobb Deep was my favorite group as a teen, but I never believed their raps.

Now Noyd? I believed every word he said. Dude just had that psychopath energy on the mic.

yeah, that was the "AEIOU and sometimes Y" in the OP i think. It's a quote from Midnight Marauders.

True indeed, and right before that "quote", it said:
"A......Tribe......Callled......Quest.....consists of FOUR members--Phife Dawg.......Ali.....Shaheed.....Muhammad......Q.....Tip......AND JAROBI"

Son is too important to Tribe to be a "sometimes Y", that's just sum clever shyt the Natives crew did with words back then. If anything, he's the 'O' lol

Flesh is apart of the group.
Was Flesh always though? Honest question. I thought it was like Cappadonna where at first he was just close fam, and then got officially added to the group later.

on Forever, Cap wasn’t listed as a Wu member, but by Iron Flag he was definitely in the group officially.

Peedi Crack wasn’t in State Property at first.

Big Shug and Bumpy Knuckles were unofficial Gang Starr IMO.

A lot of people might not get this one, but Joe Scudda was never an official member of The Justus League from NC. He should’ve been. He worked a lot more with Little Brother, 9th Wonder, Khrysis, etc, than a lot of the earliest League members that were voted in early on.

King Mez was sort of an unofficial Jamla member in the early Jamla days. Rapsody is still an unofficial Kooley High member even after starting her solo career. Hi-Tek is kind of an unofficial Soul Council producer.

Not only is Noyd unofficially Mobb Deep but I’d throw Infamous Mobb (especially Big Twins) too. Alchemist is also an unofficial member and fam of Mobb Deep, Dilated Peoples, and Griselda.

Teflon will always be an unofficial MOP member to me. He even kicked off the Warriorz album.

Noyd is definitely a crazy ass dude in real life. I’ve heard some wild stories.
