Cincinnati does not support it's local artist...But the thing I love about Texas especially Dallas is that the support their local artist and put on for the smaller cities as well.

Fort Worth supports their artists, which is weird cause Dallas and FW are only an hour or so away, but are completely different music wise. Another thing I don't get is the "beef" between the cities. There's talent in Texas, if we stuck together like ATL does we'd be on the map more. But you know how nikkas are smh. Over here Dallas and Worth shyt on local suburb artists(Cedar hill, McKinney, Irving, etc). But ATL fukks with surrounding areas(Migos not even from ATL.).

damn son i think it would be dope for a Dallas, FT. Worth, or even Suburb nikka blow up in the game, cause we never really hear much about that side of Texas just basically Houston (no offense). it would dope to hear a nikka's perspective on shyt forreal.

i go to dallas like 2 weekends a month my son stays in euless with his moms.....Ive been in Killeen off and on for 11 years...honestly i couldn't tell you the exact stations as I change from 92.3, 106.3 to like 102.9 or some shyt when I get outside of waco and just before i get to dallas area.

They'll play his single for a week or so after it drops...but not 6 times a day like they'll play Top 40.
And he's always out on tour, so he doesn't do shows home a lot.

That's because "Local artist" are generally trash....


Unless you're in Atlanta.......


And yes local Atlanta artist get shown love...... They might not get "regular" radio play but they get put in weekend/night mixes, and the clubs play their shyt heavy. Examples: Peewee Longway, Johnny Cinco, Jose Guapo, Trouble, etc, etc, etc..... Actually Future was one of those local artist at one time who was just hot in the streets of ATL.

It's the actual radio stations. And whenever I've went to clubs (night/strip) up there I hear local stuff to...they show a lot of local love in my opinion or maybe it's just because where I'm from I legit never hear local artist and some of your local artist are national. Actually even Austin shows love also.

I would of never knew who tuck, Tum, and a bunch of other artist were.
