rotts are slept on..dobermans are agile and can be vicious as fukk too..their jaw isnt that big though which puts them at a disadvantage...i got bit in the head by one as a kid

I used to breed and raise Rotts and I had a pit for a few years too.(I've spoke on this before) I'm not proud of it, but I would fight my dogs against other dogs. Not to the deathbut just until one dog would quit. From my experience big pits would always lose to more agile and quick pits.
But I had a rott that was a champ. He was about 130 lbs but solid as fukk. That dog was a certified champ. I was schooled by some OG's on how to train my dogs. I had treadmills, weighted vests. Supplements , vitamins etc for my dogs as well as an immaculate diet.
I could go on for hours about this dog shyt. A lot of nikkaz in this thread have no idea what they are talkin about
Don't really fukk with dogs like that, but this inner-city pit bull phase over the past several years has led people sleep on Rotts. If I had to own a dog, I'd take a Rott over a pit any day.

The thing is, are you willing to fork out the 2k + for getting a decent dog OR youll just up and grab any ole rott pup you can get on discount? Will you know the lineage of said pup? And whats the history of parents 3 generations back.

I like rotts but they suffer from hip dysplasia, so getting one from a reputable breeder would be the smart choice.
And I've been complaining about having to buying $8 dog food for my sister's 15 lb Shih TzuThat dog is cool and all but imagine cleaning up the mountains of shyts.
