Pits can be aggressive if they are raised that way. My friend has a pit and it's the most well behaved and trained Pit ever.

But if that pit were ever to fight another dog, you would see the beast come out

Bruh, you know gatdamn well that pits are born killers.

Dudes are kidding themselves in this thread with all that "they're the same as any dog" no they aren't. They were bred to fight dogs....that doesn't mean that they're going to go crazy one day and start killing like an ex war vet. It means that its easier to encourage them to have that type of behavior, even and especially if you're doing it inadvertently. Unless you have been bringing your pit around other animals and dogs from an early age or have socialized it in someway i'd bet money it'll kill the first dog that approaches your house.

Different breeds have different needs. I don't know why that's hard for people to understand. There are exceptions to the rule...but you shouldn't chance that
