All that said, can #Dogset please tell me why y'all hold this admiration over the ability to "train" another living being? Like, is that a legit source of pride for y'all- that y'all were able to exert your will and dominance over another animal and convinced it to fall in line?




Do y'all egos need to be built up that much? Some can't exert the same amount of will, dominance and discipline to fixed their own personal relationships, finances, neuroses and emotional problems. ...


But, hey, you successfully convinced Fido to follow you... Just let me say, you've just helped Fido to fulfill his own destiny. Dogs are made to follow a hierarchy. It's their instincts. Getting one to do what you say is to say getting it to do what it was going do to someone eventually anyway.

Actually the way things work with dogs is that they accept you into their pack. You ever see an alpha and it's pack. They don't train them they're a family. They work together for survival, and you end up with a saved child. Cats on the other hand literally let their owners die.
