I’ve been saying on here for years if you made the money transparent then you’d find things like a service who is charging the city $10 billion to do something only needs $4 billion to do it and people are taking a lot more of a cut than they should - that’s where the rest is going.

Reality is if they attempted to go after those agencies they would have a quick bullet in the head. I try to explain to my Wife how wasteful govt is. I think most Americans have an understanding. But like @Arithmetic stated, its the how. They are cutting people who are on the button. Cutting decision makers. Plus at the end of the day, its illegal as fukk. Mandate the Republicans in Congress to cut spending by 10% across the board and the bean counters will make it work.
