ETH is not a currency and can’t be used to purchase anything, really. There is no scarcity, meaning there is no cap on the total amount that exists thus further inflating it. It’s basically a pseudo asset that’s existence is based entirely on demand, which people inflate with social media/news stories. It’s going to crash hard.

Same applies to NFTs. I like the idea, and obviously it’s been used well by some. The problem is that it’s being used for trivial things that don’t help it. And artists aren’t making money off it. I think people need to step back and chill on it tbh.

ETH is going to have an upgrade soon that will end up burning so many fees it ends up reducing the supply in circulation compared to the new ETH that gets issued. You'll most likely see a significant price impact from this. Check out EIP1559

If you're still calling ETH a scam at this point it just means you've been living under a rock and haven't been paying attention to defi or stablecoins

Lemme stop you right there. ETH can converted into BTC and in fact can be used to purchase. I do it all the time.

Bitcoin changed my life this guy's an idiot. I bought a 4 bedroom house in a gated community when I was 23 years old thanks to bitcoin I bought that bytch cash too. I'm still living off interest thanks to investments I never would have been able to make at this stage without bitcoin. The only person who's touched my salary so far is the taxman and I've just been stacking. The only mistake I made was cashing out entirely in 2017 because I let "experts" like him scare me into thinking the bubble was going to pop and bitcoin would never recover. Had I held on I probably wouldn't be working at all right now and I'd just spend all day fukking my wife and playing with my son.

I dropped all my btc when it hit 20k bc having been messing with crypto since 2015 none of us never thought it would get that high. I remember folks being geeked when btc hit 3k lol

Which is why i get annoyed with all of the newbies hyping up what used to be called shytcoins
