anybody can like anything more than something else :yeshrug:
Personal preference :yeshrug:
And here there is a regional element as well :yeshrug:

But that doesn't change the fact that 36 is a certified GOAT contender album.
And it doesn't make Dogg Food more than a footnote.

Think about it this way - I can write a post about how much I hate It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, the beats, the rhymes...everything. People might dap my post and reply saying they agree. Does any of that change the fact that It Takes is a certified GOAT contender album?
If u don't think it is a GOAT then its not in ur opinion. It's that simple

Some things you have to be objective about tho. Its ok not to be a fan of 36 Chambers and if your not you just plain don't like the Wu. But you have to recognize its greatness. Ive never been the biggest Jay fan but I cant deny the fact he's arguably the GOAT

The problem is, the pro Dogg Food posters are denying 36 Chambers influence just to have a point. Because we all know, that if we recognize the impact 36 Chambers had on rap music, then this really isn't a debate. So we have people in here talking about 36 Chambers didn't change anything...people coming with straw man arguments "so now RZA invented sampling?" etc etc instead of addressing how 36 Chambers changed the game. Songs have been posted in this very thread that highlight 36 Chambers impact..but people are still lying to themselves. If evidence doesn't change your mind then it's no point in debating.

The entire south sound is jacked from g funk death row was doing, peep scarface now I feel ya

People acting like its against the law to like Dogg Fodd much more than 36 chambers and think its a much better album need to GET ALL THE WAY THE fukk OUTTA HERE

The dikkriding in here is on legendary levels MY GAWD :scust:

:whoa:Whoa now

No its not

Did you not listen to the beat on that track? You really gonna front and say there wasn't a Cali influence? :usure:

Wait what track?

Scarface - now I feel ya, I mentioned it in the post you quoted me in

That specific track had a cali feel

But as far as influencing the entire Southern Sound nope. There isn't 1 southern sound. Houston, Memphis, Atlanta, New Orleans etc each had there own sound

This thread is all fukked up now. nikkas that was in agreement at first cant even come to terms on their own agreements. I swear some nikkas wanna argue just to argue

That's basically all that needs to said in here. No matter how hard these trolls and Wu haters want it to be different, the fact remains that 36 Chambers is one of the GOAT hip hop albums of all time. It's even been listed in greatest albums, FROM ANY GENRE, lists several times before. You may personally prefer Dogg Food (it's a dope album...so I can see that) but to firmly claim that it's a greater and more influential album than 36 Chambers is borderline @intilectual recipricol retarded. And some of ya'll need to quit impetuously co-signing trolls. Some of the posters in here are better than that. We get it...you don't like Wu-Tang music, but respect it. I'm not a big fan of some of the albums branded classic in hip hop but I won't be going around stating that an album like Killarmy: Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars is better than one of them.
