Neither album is a top 10 best album in the year they were released...maybe not even top 20.

That was a ridiculously deep era of rap.

Atliens is a top 10 album of 96, while Dogg Food is around a top 15 album of 95. How can they be 'ridiculously overrated'? They're both certified classics. I do agree that, that era of hip hop was super deep. Just going through '96 was Ironman, Reasonable Doubt, Stakes is High, Atliens, Illadelph Halflife, Hell on Earth, 7 Day Theory, AEOM, Soul on Ice, Muddy Waters, Ridin' Dirty, It was Written, The Score '95 is just as deep too.

i think dogg food is a classic, but i know it never got the certified title. thats reserved for a chosen few. neither group is in that bracket.

Impact wise it's ATLiens by default as Dogg Food was one of the albums that damaged Hip Hop by perpetrating east vs west beef back in mid 90s.
