I voted for The Chronic because it set the standard for G-Funk and the introduction of a Young Snoop









I also enjoy Doggystyle since Snoop is in his prime. Hard choice.

Doggystyle by miles. ITS TIMELESS. To me, the chronic is a classic too but doggystyle is top tier. What zone were they in when they made that record?

The Chronic is still the better album, easily.

Doggystyle is incredible, and a classic, but it had some of the same perfomative cartoonish over the top gangsta sh*t that made parts of N*ggazfalife corny, at times. The Chronic was just straight masterful music. One of the best albums EVER! But without all the dramatic unbelievable talk that sounded more like parody on a lot of the "gangsta rap" joints at the time.
