Well apparently humans may have bred a behavioral disorder into them called Williams Syndrome. Which is just the deletion of two genes.
Williams Syndrome in humans is characterized by the person being ridiculously and even inappropriately friendly.

That makes sense. But was this bred through all species of dog because as we know not all are friendly. That being said. Wolves understand that humans are useful. So I'm not surprised dogs do too. Which is why they are the most successful hunters.
