Y'all do daily pushups :jbhmm:

I do 100 every time I go to the gym, my shoulders get really sore when I try to do them daily

I don't do them that often but when trying to do it on a daily basis it's better to start with a lower number and build it up gradually.
Also, split it up in different sets, no need to do 100 in one go if your body is not adjusted to it. Do 5x20 spread out over the day, move up from there untill you find an amount that is sustainable for you.

You should record yourself doing pushups.
Without seeing it, it sounds like your hands are not under your shoulders. If your hands are above or below, instead of a pushups, which targets your chest you are literally doing shoulder presses, which is a different exercise.

Your shoulders just stabilize during a pushup. They don't move at all, it's your arm that goes up and down by bending at the elbow.

Only thing that should hurt after a ton of pushups is your chest and triceps.

I weigh 280 no way my arms can support that much weight

Do them on your knees.

Do them up against the wall or on stairs. There's a few progressions you can do before you actually do full pushups on your own or build strength.

You were right breh. Fixed my form, now I’m knocking out 50 at a time painlessly. Repped
