I try to keep some basics in the crib but I never do a real "big" shopping when I need groceries. I cop what I need from Trader Joes every week and a half and just make it last since I also get my essentials (Oats, bread, tub of yogurt, etc) from Target and then cop them $1 gatorades/water from Family Dollar

Albertsons was aight but I used to go hard with Ralphs. Thas the first supermarket that I every got decent seafood from (crab legs, salmon, shrimp). I dont remember VONS being expensive because i lived in the hood out there (among other places), but it kept me fed when I was about that struggle life. Also, i used to fukk with the 99c joint hard body. They had name brand shyt in there and I would spend like $40 bucks and walk out with bags of stuff
