Federal prisons typically have better conditions than state prisons...yard time...more classes and programs....usually.

The plea deal would not have revoked the life sentences they were already given from the state, you dumbass nucca.

It would have kept the federal case from going to trial and it would have given the killers 30 years in federal prison ON TOP OF what they already got from the state.

The only reason the family is against that is because they on time (I would be too) and they want them boys in state prison where they can get touched instead of serving in federal prison for 30 years first before going to state prison.

But nothing that the DOJ did was out of bounds here. They're simply trying not to have to go to trial, which is what all courts do. You get offered a plea deal which gives you a sentence reduction because it saves the court money and time.

Again that would not have changed the life sentence they already got.
