I'm wondering if this policy allows the President to be above the law. The idea is that the only way a President can be held accountable is via House impeachment and Senate removal, but what if the Congressional partisans decide to ignore the rule of law in order to defend their President? The President gets off scott free. Governors get indicted all the time. So why not the President?

False premise.
No determination has been made on whether a sitting president can be indicted, but we may find out.

I think the argument is that the president can't be indicted while they're in office, not that they couldn't be held liable after. So basically if the POTUS commits a crime and Congress won't impeach, nothing can be done until they're out of office.

I'm not a lawyer so I can't really speak on the legal arguments, but ethically I think it's :scust:.

Republicans made Clinton make room in his schedule to answer questions about getting his dikk sucked. Trump can stand trial for colluding with Russians.

Speaking of which, when the Trump boys and Manafort met with the Russians on the Hillary emails, there apparently was a call to/from a blocked number that the Republican-led committee refused to look into. Trump uses a blocked number :sas2:
