They should have cell phone detectors /scanners in the jury room and court room.
You punish him for your own ineptness, plus they already charged him with contempt
No, it isn't. He is responsible for his own actions and he potentially put witnesses lives at risk.

I understand jail time, its stupid what he done, but 3 years? That's excessive.
The end of page 11 to page 12 in the sentencing memo says the guideline range for the Contempt charge is 6 to 12 months. The guidelines range for the Obstruction charge is 36 to 84 months and they saying 36 months is suppose to be the minimum imposed.

How dumb can you be. Also, thought it was interesting he got caught via a police officer routinely monitoring social media who just so happened to recognize the grand jury room. Criminal brehs should take note, cops don't gotta "walk the beat" no more, they're probably solving more crime just looking at screens.
